Having spent time driving HMMWV's in the Marines I can tell you that they are great vehicles when in the hands of someone capable. WTF was up with the idiot in the white one I will never know. As for the military Hummer being more capable. I am not so sure. It is my understanding that the military and civilian versions are mechanically the same. Not accounting for the extra weight of all the interior crap that the civi model has.

With all that said... I would still rather invest $50K in my Sub and wheel that rather than go buy a Hummer.

Seen that one before, but it doesn't get old. It does, however, bring to mind a quote from another forum I belong to:

"Ignoring the laws of physics does not obligate the laws of physics to ignore you."

yeah, the guy with the rti ramp is a classic. I love how some people think that just because they can get something that weights 8000 pounds moving (because its balanced on something) they will be able to stop it from moving once it starts to roll...

Just goes to show that it is the DRIVER not the vehicle.

I love it that people spend $100,000 on a Hummer (hey my last one was free--no wait I married her so I guess it wasn't free) anyway they think they are invincable.

    Morons!
