My hack saw doesnt like me i guess. Monday night i decided to install my tranny cooler. I starter around 11pm. Got it on, went to disconnect the line at the radiator, and it wouldnt budge, and mangled the fitting. So i took a pair of channel locks to it, and mangled the line slightly, so to move the fitting i had to cut it off. Being 11:45pm i decided hack saw is less noise. Im cutting away and it jumps! Moves my thumb over. So i move it back over and notice blood everywhere. Look at my thumb and know something wasnt right :eek1:

Needless to say, i pulled out the cutoff wheel at midnight to get it done. And Im staying away from the hack saw for a while....

I was having trouble getting it to cut. I was between the fan shroud, heater hoses, everything, and it jumped and hit my thumb as the line is flimsy and i had to hold it.......

Pour some beer on it , break out some thread ( or small pound test fishing line ) and a needle , it will be good as new until it heals :thumb:

How's sharkisporin today? I saw it yesterday and it was awesome. My right thumb instinctively tucked itself into a fist recalling its encounters with a grinder last year. The good thing about a cut-off wheel and grinder is that you don't even feel it happen. I bet you felt every blade of that hack saw.
