Halftop Photo

    In a post about painting the top, someone asked me for a photo of a top I'm cutting up and painting. Here's a 1 1/2 week old pic of the first coat of primer, sanded, waiting for a second coat. It's too dark to get a decent photo now, but it's currently half painted, lookin' pretty good.

    Since you mentioned that you are interested in other ideas, I thought you might like to see a half-top that a friend of mine created about 10 years ago. Came out pretty cool. I especially like the lockable trunk feature.
