It was precisely 1 year ago today, that I became a K5 owner! It honestly seems like a lot longer than one year because so much has happened since then.....but it was definitely a feeling I remember well. I bought a one-way airplane ticket and flew with a wad of cash in my pocket to view what would hopefully be my newest "family member". Of course, it all worked out well and I spent the next 11 hours driving it back home and smiling like a big idiot the whole time! [IMG]

Burt4x4 even called my up on the cell phone to keep me company while I drove...that was a pretty cool thing too!

Anyway, I've learned a LOT from this list over the last year, and I hope that I will be as patient in sharing what I have learned, as you were in sharing it originally with me.

Oh, and by the way......this is my 1000th post on the CK5 list! I guess you could say I'm officially ADDICTED! [IMG]

Thanks for a great year guys!

And just think, in that year you have how much more $$ in your truck. Its a never ending spiral w/ these trucks, but it it all worth it in the end.

    Scooby,

Yes, I have kept track of all the money spent....but I'm really trying NOT to look at those numbers!!! [IMG]

I can enjoy it more when I don't think about things like that.....the WORST one is when I add up my "Wish List" for all the stuff that I need to make it "just right"!!! That's the one that really scares me...... [IMG]

I bought the K/5 for 5K and probally sunk another 10K into it. I'm afraid to go add up all the reciepts I have.... not to mention several thousand dollars worth of gas. heh. Another 15-20 Grand or so and It'll be my dream truck.[IMG]

The "wish list"---ain't that the truth.[IMG] i was bored one day and added up the recipts i have and said"wow, thats a lot of $$." then i added up my wish list and said "WOW, I'm not even half way into my project." and to think, i thought I would be done w/ 10 bolts, 4" lift and 33" mud kings.. AND THEN CAME CK5. are we ever going to be done. i think not, well, as long as this site is still going.[IMG]
