Well.. its almost a new year.. and what a great one "personally" it was for me.. But how can we forget the tragedies that struck us on Sept 11, 2001..
But on a more personal note.. and K5 related note..
I was looking at some pictures of my K5 of how it was then.. and how it is now.. funny how things quickly change.. in life and in interests..
So.. I'm posting some before and after's

Hey Charles. The 89 is looking good! This has been a wonderful year for me as well. I know life threw me some curve balls this year but the good thing is i cant even remember any of them due to all the great things that have happened!

Let me know when you want to tackle those brakes on Katie and I will come over and give you a hand.

Overall it has been an ok year. The big downer for me was loosing my best friend.[IMG] As far as the K5 goes pics of before and after are in my members ride section and I am sure there will be more changes next year.[IMG]

WHAT A YEAR!!!!!
went from being employed to being laid off at the end of January. Got the Willy's home on the 15th of Jan. Was on Unenjoyment for about 5 months, while trying to build the Willy's. I was able to the frame set up and the floor replaced in this year. I then worked for FedEx for about 4 months and lost that job about 1.5 months ago. I'v had some real high points this year and some lows...real lows. Anyhoo...bring on 2002!!!! For total coverage you can view the timeline of the Willy's at ChevyHuny's Site You'll need to click on the Willy's Wagon link.
You can also visit my webshots albums And look over the pics from the great trip with some of the So Cal CK5'ers.

It's been an up and down year for me ....... I just hope this new year will be much better ......... 2001 was probably the most stressful in all my years ! The Blazer did NOT get the time I'd like to have put into it and the ATV's never hit the trails once ! I'm on a mission in 2002 to do the things I love to do and enjoy the time around me each and every day, cause ya never know when our time is up ........ I don't mean to be negative, it's just the truth ......... Take my uncle and Bandit for instance ..... who knew ? RIGHT ? Do me a big favor .... make amends to those your at odds with and enjoy each breath you take !

Yup... 2001 was a busy year for me!

Moved to Colorado in late April, got a new job in Boulder. Had my first kid this past June. Bought my first K5 in June as well.

2002 should be interesting. Need to work on my K5, do some upgrading and general maintenance. Got a raise at work that takes effect today. Hope to spend more time with the kid and mold him into a fine person!

Definately have to meet more of you fine CK5 folks! :-)

To everyone, I hope your 2002 is a safe and productive year.

Rocko,

This past year has been great. I have met many good friends this year. We had more than 3 official runs and I saw some repeat attendees. My life has changed very much in this short time. I have met some great people who have became part of my everyday life. You know who you are! I would have to say, this K5 thing has really been the only hobby to keep me interested for this long. I have had many toys, but nothing compares to sharing similar interests with people on this site. Hope you all have a Happy New Year. I know, one of my resolutions this year is to wheel the pee out of my K5.

Danno, Don't be surprised when you don't have much time for the K5 ........... It takes alot of time and effort to help mold a child into a fine person ........ I know, I'm doing the same thing the last year and a half with my daughter.
