I have a 74 and the short ones go on the cab and the long ones go in the rails,I dont know if Knight just got it backwards or its differant for other years, just thought I'd through that in there ..

76 to 81 the long bolts go in the cab and short in the rails. Since your 74 is a full convert that is why it is different.

I have one of each and tossed everything in a can. What fun when putting it all back together. The chrome trim plates are different for the tops too. Me: "why doesn't this thing want to line up?"

I put mine back on last night and spent an hour looking for the bolts and an hour stripping and putting on new weather strip. Then this morning on the way to work it sounded like the titanic back there I forgot how loud it gets...maybe i need to put the carpet back..Hmm

I'm not late im on Central Standard Time
