Hard Top on an 88

    I have a K5 1988, and i tried taking the hard top off, but the bolts on the 4 different corners of the bed rail would loosen but not come out, yet you could re-tighten them up. My brother said something about they are rusted into their clips, and i have to take the panels of the interior to fix this.

    That happened on mine and there is a rectangular nut in there that you have to hold with a wrench to get it to loosen. Mine didn't rust but it looks like it wasn't put on at the factory right. I hope this helps
