This summer I removed the hard top on my 83 blazer. Now winter is around the corner and I need to put it back on. (I don't own a soft top yet, next summer.) Do I need to use anything to keep the dust and water out and the heat in when I put the top back on?? Weatherstripping?? Thanks.

You are supposed to have an outer and an inner gasket the goes between the Hard Top and the Cab and also you need a gasket that goes between the hard Top and the bed sides.

There should have been a rubber gasket that sat between the hard top and the body. If it's missing or damaged get an new one. It may still be stuck to the hard top.

Thanks for you input. The gasket's between the cab and hard top are still attached but I won't have anything between the box and the hard top. What would you recommend and where could I get it. Thanks again.
