Eleven straight hours of reading through six hundred and sixty eight pages and it's over.... I'm kind of sad now....

God damn it I love Harry Potter

I need to write my damn books just so I have something THAT GOOD to read

That was kind of pompous eh......

They call me Harry Potter at work. You just can't help but laugh when you hear someone shout across the plant, "Harry Potter, get your magical ass over here!"

My book was supposed to get here yesterday, but UPS didn't deliver... I'm kinda pissed... I too would be done reading the book by now, and it only took me about 6 hours to read book five... so six would have been down in about 8 hours... only to be read again. =)

I'll admit being a fan too... Got a late start and read the first three books in a weekend, then each of the next two shortly after they came out. I don't mind the movies, so far they've been pretty good actually. I do agree that the books should be read first, so as not to ruin the mental imagery you conjure while reading.

We like the books on cd. Kinda a little more fun. Jim Dale is an excellent orator.

Didn't like the third movie very much. To many wide sweeping panoramic camera shots.

Now.... Just what is that supposed to mean? Is it because I haven't read a non-fiction book all the way through since the Goosebumps series was the "in" thing? :haha:

    Yeah, it's a guilty pleasure

    It's damn fine writing though

My only complaint is that it's pretty formulaic - Go to school, mystery to solve, romace, hate this guy like this guy, save the day, plot progression at the end

I'm really glad kids are so interested in reading though

    I'm kinda pissed...

It shouldn't have happenned at this point in the story... at some point in book 7 would have been fine, but NOW?? WTF was she thinking? And that thing Harry said at the end... looks like an adventure on the horizon... hmm... I still love the series, but I was sorely pissed off at the end of this one.
