I heard that one of the main characters drives around in a stock '73-'74 Blazer throughout the movie. I was thinking of renting the movie just to see some of that. Is it a good movie? And how much Blazer footage are we talking about?

Also, anyone else know of any good '70s movies with prominent footage of '73-'75 Blazers that would be worth renting? I know "Jaws" is one (I never knew they made full-top 2nd Gen Blazers until I saw that movie when I was 12). When I saw Chief Brody pull up in that gold '74 Cheyenne I was hooked for life and knew someday I would have one

    It's a good rental.

Don't remember the Blazer though, it's been years since I've seen the movie.

Yep, that K5 is in there quite a bit. It's got a funky top that they somehow cut up. It covers the back seat to the tailgate but not the cab area. Note also the bizarre spare tire mount on the tailgate.

Funniest thing of all is when the cop, George Kennedy, tried to take the Blazer away from Heston. He says something like "This thing looks like it could go anywhere." Then he tries to drive it away and he can't get it out of reverse. Heston tells him good luck, that it has a special transmission that has like 8 forward and 3 reverse gears. The first time I heard that I laughed for like 5 minutes.

My Google-Fu served me well on this one.

that is a good old school 70's movie. I dug the motorcycle stunt guy since I was all consumed my motocross and dirt bike riding when I was a kid. oh and I was excited by the "hot chick" in the movie too. clevage and tight fitting top as a horny young boy was just plain cool to see. :D :haha:

I remember the sceen where the guy says to Heston "that looks like it will go anywhere" too.
