Has anyone ran the michelin XL\'s or XZL\'s

i was at work today placing a order with michelin for trailer tires...and after i thought about the big tires that the millitary uses and the ones that www.usa6x6.com sells..and i decided to call for prices for new ones...i can get a 36.8 x 12.50 x 16 for 300 bucks...i am almost tempted to get em..i know they will last me forever and a day..i would prob destroy the truck before the tires were even close to worn out...has anyone in here had first hand experiance with em...how well do the sidewalls flex when aired down..how do they do off road in general? anyone know?

Well, i have 1100R16 XL's on my 72, they are about 38.5/11.5/16 And i love them, they are the greatest tire ive had yet. dig like theres no tommorow. They are really stiff though. 300 bucks each is a friggin deal for them, id say get them.

MJ has the ~39" Michelins on his truck. Pretty narrow, but I've heard nothing but good about them.
