I have read mostly negative things about the cadi calipers. I am doing a disc swap on my 14-bolt ff and need to retain the e-brake, so I was planning to use calipers from a 77 cadi. I would like to know if people using this setup are happy with it or not.

I have heard that the e-brake does not hold very well. I have also heard other non-specific complaints about them - just "they don't work very well". I know that some have switched from the cadi calipers to the d44 calipers, but I don't know the specific reasons.

I run them and they work very well. My descents have never been easier. I have not hooked up the e-brake though so that could still be an issue.

I've been running a set for about six months now without a problem. The ebrake does work but it doesn't have the same holding ability the drums did.
