I have a OPEN and a GOV-LOC 14ff carrier in my possesion.Just wanted to know if anyone has succesfully welded a GOV-LOC and have it hold up? I'm running 44's and around 325hp. If not, I think there is a mini spool for a 14ff if I'm not mistaken, available through Reider Racing.Might go that route. Thanks in advance..

Yepp, welded my gov-lok and it has held fine so far. I have no strength worries with it. I had a post a while back, maybe I can find it again.

Nope, just as you see it in the pic. Just be sure to weld it carefully. If anything moves just a little bit it will be hard to get back into the carrier.
