    I don't mind regular upkeep type cleaning, but man... cleaning the seals on the windows, refrigerator, dusting off any surface that has the chance of accumulating dust is a PITA.

    "Formal Inspections" suck... hardcore.

    Edit: Let's not forget dusting off blinds. That's the worst ever.

    Roger... lemme cram an air compressor into a dorm room. Already have a 14 drawer toolbox, why not?!

    They make a special duster thing for blinds FWIW...not that I've ever used one, but I have seen them. :haha:

    Don't forget the tops of the doorframes, and the tops of the doors themselves. That was one of my favorite places to check when I was the one doing the inspecting...

    So, how often does the AF get to play this game?

    Tops of doorframes, doors, light switches, dimmers, baseboards, doorknob backing plates, doorjambs all dusted.

    Freezer defrosted, completely cleaned out. You can see your reflection in my shower doors and eat off the ****ter.

    Oh yeah. How often.... whenever the base commander and command chief damn well feel like it I guess.

    ::shrug::

    :) Have fun with that.

    We live in "dorms" instead of "barracks" Your supervisor is supposed to regularly inspect your room, but that almost never happens.

    It's about to change at this base I think though. Too many stupid kids thrashing the place and pissing off the Command Chief (Head E-9 of the base). These fockers better not make me have to attend some weekend formations >:|

    Don't forget to strip and wax the overhead. I'm in the US Coast Guard and lived in Navy housing for awhile. Getting checked out sucked. Them Navy boys are very anal (no pun intended).

    Textured paint ceiling....

    Only ****ty thing is it's freakin hard to get all the dust bunnies off textured paint. I'm really thinking the air nozzle sounds better and better.

    I was joking about the overhead. One tip is to close all of the blinds and turn off the lights (or if it has more than one light bulb, take all out but one), the less light, the less mess they will see.

    These people don't like that. I had to argue that I didn't need eight 60-watt light bulbs in front of my mirror. I can barely stand one 60-watt bulb when I wake up early in the morning... let alone eight of the ****ers.
