I've been hangin out here for two years or so, but just re-signed up when I got back into a K5 last April. I hate to admit it... This is my second username cause I went so long without doing anything, I forgot my original name and password...

And yes, you've created a monster!! You've done as a solo spare-time webmaster what some teams and full-time designers can't do; generate huge traffic without buying media advertising (unless you have and I haven't seen it...). And I personally think this site is more well done than some of the major sites on the net. Much easier to navigate, and information that is useful even if you're not in the middle of the project being discussed/written up. That may be a biased view, though, since the site is targeted for us K5er's. I'd bet there are a ton of non-K5er's hanging out and viewing the site, though...

I thought there might be some people interested, but it still amazes me how many new people keep coming over and joining. And no I haven't even advertised yet, I was thinking I might take out an ad in 4 wheel& off road some time if I get some revenue from the memberships. CK5 will be mentioned in the November issue under cyber wheeling, so that will help a little as well.

Crazy question for you Steve...

CK5 has over 3000 registered users (3031 when I looked, to be exact). I'm kinda curious how many of these registered "users" haven't been here in a long time... Is there an easy way you could find out how many of these "users" haven't been back here in, let's say 1 year for the sake of this discussion? Like a report that you (as the Master [IMG]) can pull up? I certainly don't want you to spend hours looking at old data just to satisfy my idle curiosity, so if it's something you can't do in a couple minutes, don't even worry about it. I'm just kinda curious about how many of the 3000+ are ACTIVE.

It's always darkest just before it goes pitch-black...

I regularly recommend this site to K5 owners from bc4x4.com. I'm shameless about it because its the best damn K5 site on the planet and also the best source of info no matter the question.

I get a kick out seeing them here as members within hours of the link being posted.

Speaking of old data, do you know how many members you had when you switched over to this format? What a change CK5 has gone through.

Good lord. The rod up that man's butt must have a rod up it's butt.

Is there a way for us to find out what our member # is? Ya know what the number was when we signed up?
I don't remember seeing a counter on the old (original) board.
I know we can see the sign on date but the number would be cool to see......of coarse if it is any kind of work forget about it............

Yeah, I will take a look at that, there are a lot of users that have only posted once (most likely selling a part or buying) and then never again. Also users that had a GM then sold it therefor not needing to come back. I want to take a look at what percentage of the 200+ members per month will be active members, it's a numbers game, the more people to sign up, the more members that will be active.
