I know I sure haven't, but I ate at a place tonight that claimed to have it........

    http://www.fuddruckers.com/

    It's cheap at least

The lady asked me how I wanted my burger cooked... No one has ever asked me such a thing, so I said "I just want it cooked..."

been there... its just "ok" IMO... I'd much rather have a double bacon cheese from Carl's Jr. That thing is the shizzle.

The southwest burger is pretty good, but not the best. I had a burger at some place in San Diego a few years back that blew them away.

Yes, at Port-o-Call in NOLA. And Fudruckers was ok, but the local one went out of business.

for the best burger combine one lb ground beef and one lb ground chuck, 2 tsp monkey dust, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, make about 5 1" thick patties about 5" around and sear on the grille for 5 minutes a side, then put on the top rack with the grille still on high for 8 minutes a side, add cheese the last 2 minutes, toast the buns and dress, voila

Weve had a fuddruckers here for years. Ive been once or twice. The burgers ar OK, but nothing to write home about.

About having your burger cooked, if the restaurant grinds their own meat in house, then they can cook it any way you want (rare, med-rare, med, med-well, well) If a restaurant doesnt ask for a temperature on their burgers then you automatically know the burger wasnt made in house and 99% of the time was frozen the day before. I love going to a place that calls in a temp for burgers...i always go with med-rare.
