I had some blessing's in the last week.
    I scored 2, yeah, 2 1227747 computers.
    And i got a 16136965 computer.
This one I don't know much about and can't find much info on. I got it out of a 92 CAPRICE CLASSIC COP CAR.
    Just lookin for info.
It's a tbi, but I was wondering if this was an INTERCEPTOR model or just another version of the 1227747 with a few different mods.
Anyone know where I can get info or know anything about this comp?

    Ahh yeah... the 1227747...

Thats one sweet piece of plasic.

Honestly, I have no idea, thats way out of my neck of the woods. I'm not a drivability guy. Allthough, I doubt they'd know much about it either.

Try calling up a dealer, run the parts guy through the ringer - see what kinda info they have on it.
Take that info, and shmooze the shop-forman (service-side, not the manager) - If he's in a good mood, he might be able to come up with some more info about it.

That's what I'd do, for what it's worth.

G.M. performance parts.com (?), of Soggin dickys (something like that) - those ARE THE G.M. performance parts gurrus. I'd bet they would know.

    Thanks Twiz.
I Hope this is one of the good tbi comps. I have the Harness and the comp, just wondering if ti is posible to dummy the inputs from the tranny and unuseable engine inputs.
Custom chips are too high dolllar.

Ooooo, just thought of acouple more'

Turbo city, They helped a buddy of mine with a OBDII vortec with a hot cam. Bet they know what's what.

Check out a G.M. Performance Parts catalog. All-kinds a trick info in those. And who's more "in-the-know" than the Genneral himself.

check out www.thirdgen.org Should be able to find some info out on the ECM's.

Also http://diy-efi.org/ Searching the GM-ECM archives will probably yield some info as well. I'm sure it's all been covered at both of those locations.
