Finally getting around to exhaust. Have a 73k5 full time 4x. 350 ci pretty much all stock th350 np203 with dual exhaust no crossover exhaust pipe. questions. What headers do I go with and what exhaust system goes best with what headers. Just from reading past posts. I was thinking Hookers or Thorleys ceramic coated with flowmasters. Was quoted 154.95 for reg campetition hookers and 299.00 for ceramic coated hookers. What size in diameter to i go with and do I need ceramic coated or is this just a waste of $$$$. The louder the better. Please give me some input here as I am ready to go ahead with this. This weekend. As always rely on you guys help and much appreciation
    peace

If you want loud, get Flowmaster 1 chambers, they have a tiny case and are almost like a straight through pipe. They are loud!!!!

But I think you would sacrifice a lot of back pressure which would hurt your power.

Yes, definately don't want to sacrifice any hp. So I guess this rules out loudness????

    Re: header questions for 91

Sure why not. Summit has alot of brands that will fit, Edelbrock even makes some that you dont have to modify your exhaust and are a direct bolt on(so they say)

Skip the ceramic coat, unless you never plan to drive off road. The first time you get down and dirty, you will wear all the pretty coating right off thoswe headers. Get stainless if you can. I had Thorleys on my Blazer 454, with a single 3" exhaust and a 1 chamber flowmaster. Sounded AWESOME.
