How much would running straight headers with no muffler for a weekend hurt your engine?? Is there any place out there that sells header tips or header mufflers. I have seen some jeeps in the desert that have some type of header muffler but I have never asked about them.

It won't hurt the engine JUST your ears! Any muffler shop could hook you up with hedder mufflers.

As Triaged said, it won't hurt your engine (so long as the carburetion isn't jetted too lean).
