Heading out on Thursday. Going to be right off of little grass valley reservior if any nor-cal folks wanna stop by for a beer. I'll be up there from the 23rd through the 2nd of October.

First time out in about 7 years and I can't wait. :waytogo:

Does it even seem right hunting when it is still up in the 90 degree weather everyday? Have fun just a thought though.

    Thanks

I agree, but it's only 70's up there. Archery season starts in August too...
Unfortunately the CA season doesn't go into winter. No rut hunts here (well they might offer some special hunts, but no general season rut hunting...)

I usually hope for a early storm that will drop some snow for the end of the season, that usually gets the deer moving...

Man that sounds awesome. I'm taking this Friday off to go to some family land to work on food plots, mow roads, etc. Our bow season starts Oct. 1. I desperately need to get my bow out and start practicing. Fall is by far my favorite time of year. Football and hunting, what more could a guy ask for. Good luck.

    DOH :doah:

I don't get to hunt those much out here either... We got a few but not worth the trouble in trying to draw a tag...

One of these days I'm gonna get out to Idaho with my dad and do some elk hunting up there...

Dale - Come on up man!!!
