well, i wrote them about a week ago and asked about their tops for blazers/jimmys and see if they had a pic of one installed. i also sent an e-mail to the "suggestion box" to their r&d department. the reply i got back was:

    1. no pic available

    2. drilling required on the body for the snaps

    3. there is talk of redesigning the top for the k5 crowd using a "rail" type system

they said to keep visiting their web page for new products.

i dont know if they were blowing me off or not, but that is what they said....may be hope for us after all!!

Keep us posted, I'd like to see what they have for 73-75 full toppers. (something I plan on doing at a later date.)

I suggested making a top that didn't require drilling...I also made it clear that I would buy one for sure if they did (even though I am having one made for me). I figure the more people that say they want one they will grab the clue. Even if I don't want one it'd be nice for those that do so they can get one and not have to search all over for them....

I think they bolt to the original bolt holes, but I'm not sure. I've never had a soft top in my life.

You can design somehting with rails that go along the sides where your hard top bolts in. It uses the same holes to bolt the rails down and the snaps sit on top of the rails.

I just wrote to them and asked about a rail system soft top for 73-75 Blazers and told them of my interest to purchase. I think we should all do this to show them that we are a group of more then one and that it would be economical for them to produce this product.

Why doesn't besttop just buy out k-lines patents and diagrams. They would save a lot of time and money, but that would be to easy!!

Yeah I misread that...I was tired and out of it. But you can connect a soft top without drilling holes in your rig. I wish I bought one when I had the chance!!
