heat and air guys

    my heat is out again. last time the guy came and re lit the boiler and it came back on

    i turned off the unit. re lit the pilot light, it stayed on by itslef, so i switched it back to the on position, but she is not firing?

    am i missing something?]

    air flow many aplances check air flow first (exaust) and it it is blocked then it wont pump the fuel.

    check your vent for nests, blockage ect.

    our hotwater heater was blocked by cat hiar over the grate.

    they sit on top because it is warm and it just sucks all there hair in

    How is your boiler controlled? By a thermostat? Have you checked to see that you havepower to the thermostat?

    if the pilot light keeps going out it could be the thermocoupler.

    i have power to both thermostats. in house and garage. pilot light is not going out, the unit is just not firing. i tried turning the power to it on and off also. still nothing

    Well, it sounds like your control valve isn't getting the signal to open. Sorry, I deal more with pipeline stuff than furnaces. I'm sure one of the plumbers/gasfitters will be able to give you some better info.

    well, he came and tapped on something and it fired. hes going to replace it tomorrow.

    actuator, or fluct something


    oh well, the heat is rising!!!
