where is the best place to buy the heat sheilds that go under the carpet up in front?
Are you talking about that rubbery stuff glued to the floor? I just tore out my carpet and that's all I saw. Took me hours to scrape that sh*t away!
you can try buying some from jc whitney but i got a good deal from the local fabric store. the stuff i'm talking about is foil on one side and 3/4 cushion. the other stuff is the sound deadner. the best price i have seen for that was at www.partsexpress.com
get dynamat or similar for under carpeting, sound and temperature proof, youll love it, i want some for my rides but its kinda pricey i think
LMC truck has pre-cut asphalt underlayment along with pre-cut heat reflective foil. Just installed it, and it is the $hit!
i agree, i've used that stuff before on an old project and it works great /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
looking thru my LMC catalog but I can't find it. Isee once piece fubber floor mats, but not sure where to find what you are talking about.
EVA (asphalt based) sound deadener 1/8" thick is p/n 38-2886 for $39.99
Heat shield die cut to match the EVA sound deadener 1/4" thick is p/n 38-2904 for $39.95
Hope this helps.
