took a rusted, useless AC unit out of my truck, now my heater blower/motor won't come on. Is this somehow tied into the AC unit? Do I have to complete a circut to have the motor come on? Think i've heard something about this but not sure. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

The A/C equipped trucks have a high speed fan relay under the hood that powers the fan motor, the non A/C trucks get the power for the heater motor from inside the cab. If you removed the underhood wiring, you need to reinstall it, or check the connections you changed to correct the problem.

On my 73, it screws into the large black box for the AC right next to the blower motor. It has a 3 wire plug and a 2 wire plug.
