Heavy Duty Front Shackles

    will these raise up the front a bit?? I read that they are 1/2 longer than stock. I have a 72 with stock leafs. I am looking into lifting it a bit, but nothing over 2".

    I think that shakels lift your truck half of the over stock lenght. So a 1/2" longer shakel should give you 1/4" lift.

    That's right, they add 1/4" of ride height, exactly half the extra length. We did that to help keep the springs from hitting the frame on full compression. Not a problem really till you get to a 6", but some of the 4" springs will hit, and it doesn't hurt anything at all with lower lifts.
