I picked up a pair of WP Warrior shackles today to run with my shackle flip. They are made for the J**p XJ, but will bolt right up to my burb, -and they are way beefy, especially compared to the factory ones. Oh, by the way, they are 1.5" longer.

www.warriorproducts.com part #149. I'll see if I can get pictures. I bought mine from a friend at www.jackit.com, so I got it for his cost, so I don't know retail price. Skyjacker sells a greasable version half an inch longer, for about double the cost. (p# xj20) http://www.skyjacker.com/products/Poly/valuekits/vk.htm I'll see if I can get pictures up They are basically 1/4" plate necked down from spring width to shackle width with a tube welded in the top where it bolts to the hanger. It came with bushings and sleeve and is powdercoated a flaky grey color.
