I just bought a used HEI for my 70 Blazer with a new cap/rotor and I'm going to replace the coil now. How are the MSD Blaster coils? Anyone have any other suggestions?
    Thanks, Jeff

Sorry about the double post. The message told me the post was not processed but I guess it was.

Just did the HEI swap on mine and since I am poor used Accel super coil. Works very well. Clearance at the firewall is an issue though. Some major firewall manipulation helped.

Let me know what kind of clearance you have? I am wondering if I need to look at my Tranny crossmember bushing.

I haven't dropped the distributor in yet so I'm not sure about firewall clearance problems but I'll let you know what happens when I do.
