Remanufactured HEI distributor for 81-86 ECS. May be able to use for all HEI applications by swapping the module. $35.00/OBO shipped.

false, some did and some didnt, check the application for 85 caprice estate wagon with LG4, and same with 84 Z28 with L69 305, they are EST controleld with vacuum advance,

about 50% got EST and vacuum and other 50% didnt
it all depended on year make model application

EST began in 1980, it is electronic spark timing, it involved a transmission sensor, it retards ignition timing when vehicle is in reverse and lo forward range, on truck four speeds it is mounted in top of tranny case just like back in 71-up when it was just TCS and no engine controls

actually most of them had vacuum with EST, i can think of a lot of 80-up
