What's a good price for a replament Ignition Modual inside the HEI Distutor?
Do they sometimes come with a lifetime warrenty(Autozone) ?
Anyone know of one made in China, or otherwise that is dirt cheap say $15.00 ?
    TIA

Never seen 'em that cheap. I think you'll find the price to be more around $45-65, depending on model. [IMG]

Don't buy one from Autozone, I went through two modules(lifetime warrenty) in one week, and they wont replace them because their "tester" says the module is ok. I bought one from Advance Auto and haven't had any problems yet. I think the one from Advance was 19 bucks it was the cheapest they had, the AC delco model was somewhere around 50-60 bucks.

They must be way cheaper for the pre-EFI distributors. I just looked up one for a '91 K5 on the carparts.com site and it goes for $40.00 to 68.26, depending on brand name. [IMG]

Makes sense..whenever the trucks went to the full CCC carb (and TBI) they must have the 5(?) wire modules, which has to do with the computers ability to change the timing, thus making them more expensive : )

I just bought one the other day for my mom's 89 Caprice (305 TBI) at Autozone for 18.95.
