    Heims....5/8\" or 3/4\" bolt???

I already have 5/8" X 3/4" chromely heims, but have been looking into the 3/4" X 3/4", but their static load decreaces by almost 25 percent!! Should I just use the ones I have???

    Any suggestions??

Depends very much on what you're doing with them, a 3/4" bolt is better for single shear, 5/8 is fine in double shear. how beefy are your brackets? How much load are you really going to have on the joints? What brand/type of joints are you looking at? That can make a big difference too.
    Isn't this all fun?!
