Jason, if you mean the dually 14FF, I have one!! It's got 4.56 gears, too!! I can't remember exactly what year it came out of, somewhere around '83 to '87, just can't remember. I do know it came from one of these years because it has the long e-brake cable from the passenger side to the driver side.

Wes.. I need the 62" version of the 14ff so I don't have to cut the housing/axles down. The stock d35c is 60 inches long on my XJ, so all I would need is wheels with 3.75" backspacing. I'm going to St Louis for 6 months, so it will be awhile before I need the 14ff.. I'm wanting to convert my XJ to a one ton and run 36" tsl's.. let me know

Jason, I will go out to the yard and measure the distance. I know it's a dually because it's still under the truck and the tires and wheels are still on it, too. Its the narrow rear. Just need to get out and measure it to make sure.

Is this the ratio you are looking for? If not, I could pull the 4.56 out so I could use them. Don't matter to me. I don't know if the carrier is open or Gov-Locked.

I'm sure thats the 14 I'm looking for.. The gear ratio would work just fine, but if you needed the 4.56 real bad I would let you have it :). I'm keeping my front d30 and mutating it to a 30/44 hybrid. How much would you need for the setup? I'm thinking about going with a Ford 8.8" rear out of a 96+ exploder.. these are 31 spline axles with rear discs... I can get these new for $450 plus $90 for the relocation(perches/e-brake) kit. Let me know..
