Howdy everyone, found a little internet cafe here in Munich, just thought I´d say before I jump on the plane home tomorrow.
Pretty tired, I worked over 90 hours the first week, and the second week wasn´t much better.
By the way, the beer here is damn fine and very cold. We partied at the Haufbrauhaus last weekend, they serve there beer in 1 liter glass steins! 3 of those and I was pleasantly ripped!!!

Catch yáll when I get home

Howdy again! I just got home.......and I feel like a complete bag of mush [IMG]
Rocko, after I left the internet cafe we all headed back to the Haufbrauhaus for a couple of beers. We got there about 4 pm and shut the place down....[IMG] I had 6 or 7 of those monster beers and had the pleasure [IMG] of flying home still drunk and then hung-over[IMG]
What a total party, by the end of the night I was arm wrestling all the Germans at our table, I was doing fine right up til the last guy, he was huge and I was too drunk to let up before he damn near ripped my arm out of its socket. For some strange reason I had trouble carrying my luggage this morning! [IMG]

We had quite the international party going on, 4 Germans, 6 people from Manchester, us 3 Canadians and 1 guy from Galveston TX. All I have to say is what an incredible place! Try and imagine 5000 people all singing and drinking monster beers......its quite an experience, I'm surprised I remember any of it! [IMG]

4000 new messages to read and I haven't slept in 28 hours, I think I'll sleep and try and catch up tomorrow.

    Rene

Hey slydog! Marienplatz is the place to be....and the Glockenspeil (sp?) is very cool although we never seemed to be anywhere near it when it did its thing. Munich is a very neat place, a lot of bizarre stuff has happened there.
One of the places we checked out was the concentration camp at Dachau.....[IMG][IMG]. I had to see it firsthand, and it was absolutely gut wrenching to see.
How old were you when you were in Munich?

Rene (finally got to drive a Benz on the Autbahn)

Hey welcome back!! You missed the quake! I think it felt pretty cool actually. You must have heard a lot about it by now. I lived in germany for about 4 years when I was 2-6 or somethin like that. I can't really remember what it was like but I used to speak german fluently (or so I'm told)
    well... see you around..
