Help! Broken Vent Window

    hey there all,
    on my way home from the final phish show of the season the other night and went to open the vent/wing window on the driver's side and the bottom pin where it pivots broke clean off. the window still dangels from the upper pivot point and i can kind of jam it into place for the time being. what do i have to get to fix this little delema?

    Hey, I broke the wing on the passenger side of my husband's Blazer...he was really mad, he sold it before I had to fix it though. but if memory serves me I think you have to replace the whole frame, I don't think it's fixable. I could be wrong though. I know it wasn't anything easy otherwise ours would have been fixed sooner

    I had the same thing happen to mine and all I did was weld it back in place. Be carefull not to heat it up too much. It wouldn't open anymore but I couldn't afford a new frame. Good Luck

    LMC Truck sells new ones. It is pretty expensive though. They run $179. I cant think of any way to fix it......maybe JB Weld?

    what year is your truck. I have some various years. decent shape.(some have rust on glass frame) but still work. 15.00 each + shipping. let me know what year. they did change designs, but they all interchange.

    your right. I don't understand the jeep thing!

    1986 K5 Jimmy, it's not tinted and it has the push button lock, it's the chrome color too (lock).
