Help! Can\'t get my WHEEL OFF!!??

This is crazy, a friend of my gave my a set of Super Swampers and when putting them on the other day we got to the last one and I'll be damned if it wasn't rusted to the drum!! We tried penetrating oil, a hammer, a sledge hammer, kicking it, hitting from the inside, leaving two lugs on and driving it!!! Still won't come off ... now it's on! We went and got a air chisel/hammer and literally bent a bunch of places on the rim still no change!!!

    Any more ideas? LOL!!

being very careful of course, i'd try heating up the rim from the outside as close to the place where it meets the drum. than try prying it and hitting it. if its a 14 bolt you could take the axle out and than the drum will come off and maybe you could work on it easier. good luck...

    thatK30guy : LOL!! I Wish!

pilgrim : I'll try that, never thought of fire! I have a 12 bolt rear and a 14 bolt in the garage waiting to go on maybe just trade out the axle!!

    Thanks, Shane /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
