Guy's I need help dropping this tank. Do I have to take my bumper off or is there a trick that I'm not seeing? I allready had to remove the hitch to see anything, now it looks like I have to take the bumper off. Is this true?

    TIA
    James

No, you don't have to take the bumper off (even though I did the first time I did mine /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif).
Just put the tailgate down and you should be able to get to the bolts through the gap between the tailgate and bed floor.

Well I got it down and the pump changed. I had to take the bumper off b/c I have the plate under the bumper that covers all that stuff up. I would be good to go if not for the parts stores not having the filler hose. I had to cut all my hoses to get them off and no one had the filler one. SO, where do I get this. Is this a dealer only item? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I've bought one at NAPA before. It doesn't have a part #, Ya just have to take in the old one and they'll match the diameter and length.

And here I was *going* to make an entire reply to your original post mentioning do NOT cut those hoses, as they are a ROYAL PITA to find. if NAPA has them great, but I know the local chain stores tell me they can't even get those things.

    Sorry I didn't post it.

LMC would be good to get them from if NAPA doesn't have them, LMC has REALLY impressed me with their customer service!
