Ok, started leaking diesel last nite!! What goes on the last return line, on the injector by the firewall??
On the passanger side there is just a hose type cap, no clamp or anything holding it there. Its just slid on.

6.2L Well thats what i dont know, is it supposed to be clamped off, or ran back to the other side of the fuel return. I bought it from the 2nd owner.

The arrow isnt close enough but its the small metal line above the main fuel line.

and that line is leaking fuel? it seems that something should connect there, i would be looking at the back of the motor for a disconnected line hanging loose..

Yeah thats what I thought, I looked, I can't find any loose hose to go there.
Then on the other side of the block on the last injector it has a hose with an end slid on it to cap it off.
    I'm worried thats not right!!
If it is then i will go to the parts store and just replace it.

all the diesels i have worked on have return lines on them and thats what that looks like. all the other injectors should have the same line on them and all be connected. check to make sure and then you'll know the solution (put a line on it) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

If you haven't got an answer by tomorrow at lunchtime I'll brush the snow off my 83 and take a close look at how my lines run. I'll snap a pic of how they are supposed to look. Maybe that will help.

I do know that Rene(tRustyK5) had some simliar issues. If he sees this post I'm sure he'll be able to help you fix 'em up.
