Can someone help me ID the K5 I have found in a junk yard....I sent a post about this K5 last week and decided to take another look at it this week. While there I wrote the serial number down in hopes that its year could be determined. SN KS180S133030.

I looked it over a lot better this time and can report the following: The frame is VERY rusty, The dash gauge & glove door are missing, no seats, rust holes along the wheel wells on the inside, clutch pedal missing, HAS complete drive line from the 3 speed back (4wd), no windshield, quarter panels are "flappers". It has never been butchered!

I do have pictures if anyone wants to see, let me know.

Still think I might get it....but it will be a Major project!

    Happy Holidays! Mike B.

    According to my VIN book its a 4 wheel drive (k), 6 cyl(s), 3900 GVW(1), a blazer should be a 6 not a 8, 1970 (0), made in St louis (s), the last 6 are the actual truck #

The VIN is correct for a '70. I have a '70 and had a '72 parts truck, and both had KE18....... VINs.
