    Howdy all,
If anyone can help me I would really apprecate it. I got a used soft top for my 71 blazer and it didn't come with the windshield mount template. I need to know how far forward/back the body mount snaps go so that I can locate them properly. Please email me directly at alan.baydush@duke.edu if you can help. I can call you as well, if that is easier. Thanks,
    Alan

Yes buy all means contact the manufacture, they sent me the owners manuel and the templete/cutout.
Tip, I hope you have a heated garage, they fit much better at 70+

I did mine without a template, I just split the difference between the rain gutter and the top. I centered the top on the truck and started with the center snap and woked one snap at a time each direction. Worked well for me. Did the same on the tailgate. I would measure but the hardtop is on now.

Also I would use screws and not rivots to put the snaps on the windshield and tailgate in case you have to replace any. If they strip out over time you can enlarge the screw size. I have replaced one snap in 4 years.

Definately put it on a hot garage. pay a buddy to crank the heat to like 75 and leave the top spread out for a day or so before putting it on.

Just remembered mine is a kayline so maybe different.

Where do you find a best top for a blazer. I have gone to their web page and have not ever see one there.

Well, thanx all for the help. But I had installed it before I got any responses. We put it in the garage, turned the wood stove and heat up till we hit 80 and started. It went well. We put the snaps just in front of the break where the edge goes down so that they would be fully flat. HAd gotten the top used, so had to get body mount snaps, which came with screws, so that is good and we pre coated them with some silicon to seal the hole up a bit from water. We started at the center and worked our way out. Fits nicely and makes the rig look great. Wish I had had a digicam with me :( Will post picts soon. Thanks again for all the help and responses.
