help is anyone scraping a truck

    i need the metal cab mounting plates that bolt or rivet to the frame.it's a 78 1/2 ton frame i think all i need are the 2 that are under the footwell area is there others? the p/o removed the to put on a 68 cab and they are long gone.can i build these? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    I have a rolled, late 70's 2wd parts truck also. Frame and part of the cab are still there...

    I take it the PO figured out a 68 cab doesn't work with the frame unless you want to cut out the back of the cab /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

    sweet not in a huge hurry i bought my 3/4 ton running gear last week so brian and i have to do that first /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif figure take the cab off and make it real easy

    it was pretty scary he put a custom 2x2 steel body lift on it welded right to the frame /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif i would tell more of the hackery but he is my brother /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
