    Hi all,

Gonna see this Blazer tomorrow, at last, but I got a couple of questions...

Is there a place where I can find something like this...

    But for the transfer case?

    And...

Where is the ID tag for the engine and the location of the VIN number.

    Cheers all /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    PS. It's an '89 Silverado.

    Re: Parts ID (please)

If you go to the top of the page and see the orange highlighted buttons to click on go to the one for specifications and see what that blazer came with. If it came with a 208 transfer case it is made from aluminum, take a magnet with you ????I do not know what a 241 looks like. /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif <font color="brown"> </font color>

A 241 looks almost identical to a a 208, both have aluminum cases, there should be a tag on the rear case which identifies the case type, probably 241C in an '89.

Unless it has been swapped out it'll have a 700R-4 and a NP241...
