I need measurements on how long the rear drive shaft is on a 85 blazer with a 700r/208 combo. Or could you just tell me if a drive shaft from a 400/208 combo would be the same as the 700r/208 combo.

    thanks

    Scott

I believe a 700R and TH400 are close to the same length...I know the TH350 is shorter than both...The difference in the 700/400 shouldn't be enough to have to change the driveshaft...of course using an adapter to mate 400/208 would possibly effect length...

I'm at 10th and Plum....10 miles from nowhere, and Plum out in the sticks....
