i think i have a pretty good idea of how to do it. Get one of those windshield tools that pulls the middle part of the rubber up. You can also use a samll screwdriver. Work it all the way around, until the center part is up, There should be a plastic cap where the two ends meet. Pull that up too. I think that the window frame is attached under that part. It may be glued down. If you've ever taken off a windshield, it should be similar. I've seen someone do this, but this is all I remember.

Are you talking about the sliding pane itself or the whole window? Is it the left side? Do you want to sell it? I think there are small phillips screws you can take the frame apart with, without removing the whole frame. I'm looking for the left sliding glass, not the whole thing, just the glass.

Does your topper have the small wind/wing windows? (Don't know the official name for them) If so, do you want to sell them. They were missing on my K5 when I bought it.

Yes, its really easy. Pull the rubber "spacer" from the gasket. Start in a corner, from the inside, and work, with a screwdriver or less sharp object, the inside edge of the gasket under the lip of the shell, so that finally the inside of the gasket is on the outside of the shell. Once you have got it started, keep going. Hardest part is doing it without ruining the gasket. There are no bolts holding them to the body, just gasket. On my '83, and the sliding topper I picked up, there was no sealant either.
