I was on my way to work today and about half way my blazer felt like it was about a cylinder short. I took a quick check to see if the plug wires looked good and they did. It smokes a little on startup. This doesnt sound like a head gasket does it? I dont know, just an idea. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

if you have a dead cylinder, or think you might, get a spray bottle or turkey baster filled with water, and squirt it on the exhaust manifold one cylinder at a time...if it doesnt boil off then you have a cylinder not firing.. oh, what color smoke too?

the smoke is sort of grey, pretty dark, but not black.
