    Hey all,

well, I got the new engine in and well... its got a few problems. I am running a holley street avenger 670 cfm carb and I cant get the darn truck to hold an idle at lights or for that matter when I am in traffic on the freeway!

Right now it wont even hold an idle sitting in park in the parking lot here at work.

    Help

    -Ryan

    Holly <------Your problem.

Sounds like the choke is stuck on or you have a vacuum leak.

Ok... I will search for a Vac. Leak.

There are only 3 vac lines that I am aware of in the truck, so it shouldnt be terribly difficult.

Brake, Tranny & Dist. - unless you count the PCV.

it could also be the intake is not sealed and is leaking so spray starter fluid around the intake and see if the rpms go up
