Does anyone have a manual for this engine? I'm specifically looking for the vacuum routing. Where does the line from the spark advance (on the distributor) terminate?

    Thanks!
    Pete.

Should go to one of the ports on the carb. if memory is correct.

    hmmmm...

If its like the 400 my 69 GTO had,the vacuum advance hose went to a thermal vacuum switch on the thermostat housing, which had 2 other hoses--one went to ported vacuum, the other to manifold vacuum--so it could advance the timing at idle to lower the operating temparature, when it got close to 220 degrees in hot weather--otherwise it ran on ported vacuum like most other GM's did..you could probably just hook it up to the ported vacuum port on the carb directly--doubt if it would know the difference!..
