I have a 76 Blazer that I've put DynoMax Headers on (header code # 003). The passanger side header is touching the front drive shaft. Has anyone else used these headers or does anyone have any ideas for me. Kinda stuck, Summit Racing won't take them back because it's been over 90 days since I've bought them, and its taken me 5 months to decide to install them.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I bought DynoMax headers from Summit, BUT, I ordered the long truck model (sorry, can't remember the part #, old age, okay) and they fit my '77 perfectly. You could visit your local custom pipe installer and ask him if the headers can be "tweaked" to fit. There was a note in my Summit book, stating that the standard 350 small block header wouldn't fit Blazer's & Jimmy's, plus when I ordered them, the guy on the phone asked me about my installation. Don't know why Summit dropped the ball with your order, they're usually good about asking application questions. Good luck.

i got a set of dynomax headers from jegs because they had a set that was supposed to fit the small block blazer...you could always check the number in jegs, if it's different, buy the one from jegs, and return it a few weeks later with the summit headers in the box...doubt they'd be able to tell...i wouldnt be able to do it but my friends have no problems doing stuff like that
