I just installed a BDS 4" lift kit(4 springs) and am having my first encounter w/ bumpsteer. I installed the drop steering arm(looks horizontal) and the shims under the springs are facing the right direction but small bumps have become very scary. I didn't think I'd have this problem w/ only 4" and the new arm. Any suggestions? I understand the caster and camber are not adjustable on this truck ('76 Jimmy Casa Grande). Could improper toe-in alone cause bumpsteer? Also I'm having a little vibration going on- should I be replacing the drive shafts?(quite short)
I'm new to this site and have already found great help on this first job on my new(to me) truck-the lift kit
    THanks for any help
