    I picked up a PTO and need help identifying what it will fit. The case is stamped 430, the tag is Model 420XSCBX W6 and Date is XG.
    Any ideas?

    Yeah, I had sent them a letter. Just not counting on getting a response, but maybe they will be better then a lot of other companies. I looked through their applications and couldn't find anything that matched with SM465, NP435 or NP205.... but I'm thinking that it likely came from a GM.

    It almost looks like something that would bolt to the pto spot on a 205.

    The 6 bolt pattern is pretty common, it's the # of gear teeth and pitch I think that makes the difference in what it can actually mesh with.

    I emailed them and they got back with me in about 1 business day. The PTO I had ended up fitting a np435 not an SM465.

    That's a pretty good response rate. When I ran the numbers by their application chart I'm pretty sure their chart is just for current pto units since I didn't get a match anywhere.

    I dogged it through all those Chelsea application charts and narrowed it down.
    The model # has changed, but the designators appear to remain the same.
    This should be identical to the Model 422 series.
    The XSCBXW6XG breaks down as:
    X=std mount
    S=gear ratio of 1.205:1
    CB=input gear designator for #5-P-1029 gear
    X=No Pressure Lubrication
    W=Cable shift
    6=Assembly option
    XG=Output option, shaft 3/4" w/3/16" keyway (pump kit)

    So, as to what it fits it would be the NP435 trannies, Ford/GM/Dodge. With a gear swap it will run on a NP205 and the hydraulic output for the pump can be swapped for a direct drive, although I've been considering a large hydraulic winch for the rear of my truck. :cool1: Now to find out what the 205 gears cost....
