help with honda 300ex and price

    i am looking at some honda 300ex i found a 2005 ---- $4500. list in nj
    2004-- $3989 in NY -- no tax for out of state people and rebate ends tuesday
    2003 no price yet


    the big ???? is what would you pay for the new in box 2003????


    i want to save as much as i can and i will ride a 2003 and be just as happy as a 2005 but it is yellow so be it

    I was reading your post and figured that the price difference between the 2005 and the 2004 was $511. So I'd think that you should be able to get the new 2003 for roughly $3500 or a little less if you're lucky.

    not to be stupid but you thought about getting a 400EX? there is a big time aftermarket for upgrading them and everyone I've known with a 300 wanted the 400.

    i am not a racer and i just plan on rideing trails not being alble to back up and spend more money to do it --- made me think go with the 300

    back in 90 i rode a 87 250x and it had lots of power and i am old now 33 my bones hurt /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

    reason enough /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif all four wheelers are a bit slow in my book, even the fastest production ones. snowmobiles will skew you view of speed /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    I paid around 6,000 for mine (2004) after tax and 3 year replacement warrenty on anything that goes wrong tires to motor blowing up. I also got a preferred maintenance agreement when I call in to get service I am guarenteed to have my bike in within 24 hours no matter how busy they are and back to me within 2 days. Also if it is stolen it has #'s etched on the frame in several spots to recover it and if not it is fully replaced.

    wow the guy with the 2003 got back to me $4400.00 and it is not a 2003 it is a 2002 -- he said it might be


    i think i will go with the 2004 300ex
