you can get it off with some acetone, otherwise it will stay there until it wears off.

Try wearing some latex gloves for a while untill you sweat it off. As I recall, thats how that dude got it off his hootus, too. I got some on my hands and just let it wear off.

I used castrol purple cleaner, undiluted, to help take it off of my hands. If you let the larger chunks dry they will peel off but the thin smears are very difficult. And if it gets on your clothes, forget about it. IT will never come out of clothes. I dont care what anyone says. The shorts I have on right now still have stains from april and they look the same as when I splattered them.

Beware, castrol purple is so strong it will burn the skin off of your hands too so use sparingly.

I just went thru and read the responses to the question. They SLAYED that guy! Anyone notice he did not respond at all? Maybe the tires did explode while it was parked, and he hadnt got out yet, and it did indeed flip over! LOL!

If there are chunks of the rubber granules then those will probably peel off by hand. The flat stains will wear off in any period between a few days and a couple weeks depending on your lifestyle. If it has to come off right now then you could try scraping a little with a sharp object. A fingernail may work otherwise you might try a knife or razor.

if you go and get some goo gone or goo off not sure whats it is calle dbut it is similar to the stuff I use at my sign shop It will take it off just make sure the stuff wont erritate your skin. If you cant find one of those goos ones look for an adhesive remover if you get really desperate jsut go to a sign shop they should be able to help you out.

Not that it's gonna help our friend here with his problem, but if one were going to herculine something, wouldn't it help to apply something like baby oil to the skin before you started, so that the herculiner wouldn't stick to start with?

Probably wouldn't have helped in the hootus incident tho.[IMG]

It never occured to me to get all lubed up b4 a day of herculining. lol! =p

At any rate, I've done a lot of herc myself, and all I can say is that elbow length-gloves and clothes that cover the rest of your skin are *definitely* a good idea...
